Tróia : Mountain

The 500-metre high Arrábida Mountain range, which can be seen from Tróia Design Hotel, is a dazzlingly beautiful landscape that inspires adventure and calls for meditation.

The Arrábida Natural Park, covering an area of approximately 26,687 acres, has predominantly Mediterranean vegetation, with some rare species unique to the region. The environmental riches of the area also extend to the sea, where a marine protection area has been created that has become the natural habitat of many fish, sea anemones and starfish.

Fauna in the area include: lynx, fox, hare, bats, Bonelli's eagle, Northern eagle owl, partridge and Alpine swift.
