Blue&Green Tróia Design Hotel receives an Oscar for Best Tourist Development 2008 - News

The Tróia Design Hotel, promoted by the Amorim Turismo Group, received the award for Best Development 2008 in the category of Tourism during the 2009 edition of the "Real Estate Oscars", presented by Imobiliária magazine. The following developments competed in this category: Apartamentos da Praia by the Sonae Turismo Group, Meliá Madeira, Tivoli Victoria and Fontana Park Hotel.

The concept for the architectural approach used in the Tróia Design Hotel is based on the recovery of an existing structure and the use of a contemporary language in new shapes, with architectural lines that have the purity of design present in every detail.

Tróia Design Hotel is a five-star contemporary design resort located on the Tróia Peninsula, one hour from Lisbon International Airport. Facing the marina, just a few steps from the beach, this hotel has 144 luxury apartments (studio, one, two and three-bedroom), 61 rooms, a spa, conference centre, casino and entertainment centre.

In 2008, the Tróia Design Hotel received the award for "Best Real Estate Project" from the Salão Imobiliário de Lisboa (Lisbon Real Estate Exhibition - SIL), which honoured the best proposal in terms of quality and architecture, impact on the surrounding environment, innovative elements and sustainability.
